Mahindra’s new SUV XUV 3XO: Mahindra will sell the new XUV 3XO with three different engine choices. These engines are the same ones used in the XUV300 model. The options include:
- A 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine.
- A 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine with direct injection, which means it has a slightly different way of delivering fuel for better performance.
- A 1.5-liter diesel engine.

Mahindra’s new SUV, the XUV 3XO, has become very popular very quickly. When bookings opened, over 50,000 people reserved one within the first hour. This means more than 833 people booked an XUV 3XO every second. Deliveries will start on May 26. Mahindra has already made 10,000 of these SUVs and can make 9,000 more each month. Mahindra XUV3XO Price
Mahindra is selling the XUV 3XO in nine different versions. The price starts at ₹ 7.49 lakh and can go up to ₹ 15.49 lakh. The main competitors for the XUV 3XO are other small SUVs like the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, and a new compact SUV from Skoda that will be launched in mid-2025.
Mahindra XUV3XO Engine
Mahindra’s new XUV 3XO comes with three engine choices, the same ones used in the XUV300:
- A 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine.
- A 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine with direct injection.
- A 1.5-liter diesel engine.
- All three engines come with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Additionally, the diesel engine also has an option for a 6-speed AMT (Automated Manual Transmission). The petrol engines now also have a new option for a 6-speed automatic transmission, called a torque converter.
Mahindra XUV3XO Features
Mahindra has added special new features to the XUV 3XO to make it stand out. These include:
- A 360-degree parking camera to help you see all around the car.
- Dual-zone climate control so you can set different temperatures for different parts of the car.
- Steering modes to change how the steering feels.
- Level 2 ADAS, which includes advanced safety features like automatic braking and lane-keeping assistance.
